So the hiatus is apparently ending a little sooner than expected.

Season 5 episode 14 will air on September 12, followed by S5E15 the following week.

3313467 Yes, it would seem to be the case. "Scare Master" will likely not air until before Halloween, to fit the holiday. The same will likely be true with "Hearth Breakers".

We're going to be getting two Rarity episodes back to back, though I wonder if we'll get a mini hiatus the week afterward since Hasbro will likely want "Friendship Games" to not have to compete with its parent franchise on the same day.
