Chapters 10-13 R-rated/M-rated updates to Continuation and Chronicles are targeted for release on Sunday morning, with the remainder following at the rate of one additional M-rated entry plus any changed preceding chapters (which will typically be R-rated) every two days. As things stand, chapters 10-12 will be R-rated and 13 will be M-rated, though I’ve been tempted to go further with 12 as well.

A warm welcome to any and all new Feathered Hearts readers, folks, whether you read Eros or just Continuation and Chronicles. I hate calling those two latest Eros chapters an ordeal, but they were at times simply for much I was trying to do and how much I wanted to include, both in terms of sex and worldbuilding. It took over a month to write what ended up being all 25,000 words, though it seems to have turned out well in the end.

I promised that once the Griffon Kingdom arc of Midnight Rising was finished, I would try to do a single chapter of Continuation and Chronicles before working on Nightmare Night. So here we go. Thankfully, I already have about 7000 words to work with that I removed from the ending of the previous chapter. So hopefully, it won’t take too long. Pun sadly intended. I started writing a new Midnight Rising chapter on Saturday, and so far it’s not been a struggle at all, with over 5600 words already down on it. But then again, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, given it involves a race near and dear to my writer heart—the griffons. We’ll start with Harmonic Resonance first. In short, I’m making it official: The climactic Twilight chapter of Harmonic Resonance is being broken up again, as it will take a three-parter to complete and do justice. I expect the chapter draft of part 2 to be finished within the next day, so you can expect at least a 9k chapter sometime in the next week. How fast it’s out will depend on how fast I can get feedback from prereaders and the commissioner back on it.

Hey, folks. After running my new chapter past prereaders and discussing it with them, the conclusion was unanimous—they loved all of it including the powerful combat scenes and especially some very hot adult action at the end, but the ending scene exceeded an R-rating. That left me with a dilemma, as I felt it needed to be there and didn’t wish to dial it back or remove it.
