Midnight Rising coming quickly... · 7:16pm Oct 3rd, 2022
Pun sadly intended. I started writing a new Midnight Rising chapter on Saturday, and so far it’s not been a struggle at all, with over 5600 words already down on it. But then again, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, given it involves a race near and dear to my writer heart—the griffons. You’ll get to see Midnight as she educates herself on the Kingdom and griffon anatomy along with their rather unique concepts of sensuality, with perhaps a minor assist from Juniper Neptune.
The main purpose of this coming chapter will not only be for me to cut loose, but to set something up for the climax of Nightmare Night as Midnight makes not one but two important discoveries that she’ll be able to use to her advantage later. And as both a treat and enticement for Feathered Hearts - Eros readers who haven’t checked out this story, a certain birdie boi we all know and love will be making an appearance and have a significant role in this chapter.
Understand, Feathered Hearts and Unleash the Magic take place in separate verses, but that doesn’t mean I can’t reuse the same nations and locations, or that the same characters can’t appear in different guises while sharing at least their basic personalities. So it will be here. The bottom line is that I’m going to town on this one, and I intend to have a very good time in the process!
Hopefully readers will as well. Best guess for a release at this point is by this time next week, which I’m currently scheduled to have off. It will be given over to plenty of chores and writing, and since I was just recently asked if another chapter of Feathered Hearts - Eros was planned anytime soon, I hereby promise one before the end of the year. Hopefully this chapter will serve as a good substitute until then, though!
Can't wait to see JN do her thing! And of course, I'm available to add lines as needed.
Griffins having the more Intresting traits of feline reproduction capabilities are sadly rare. Especially when blended with the stranger avian side. Like Cuckoos?
