So, that was fun...
There were some very interesting points Larson made in this video, especially about how the story editors are the ones who ultimately made the changes to the episodes. Also there may potentially be a 'Pandora's Box' type of episode coming later in the future, which does sound like an intriguing idea for a story. Looking forward to that.
Well, since I'm back, may as well start up these blogs again, especially for an episode as great as this one. First off, I honestly don't think I'll see an episode this season that'll top this one, but, who knows, I may be surprised. Second, was I the only one feeling the feels on this one? I mean, it brought us back all the way to the first episode. Throughout the episode's entirety, I was constantly overwhelmed with these memories and feelings I had the first time I watched the series
I went and bought your book. Now, my opinion of you is a bit mixed. On one hand, you did give us Amending Fences, the best episode in the whole series.
All while simultaneously giving some much-needed character to best pony.
The convention’s events did not start in earnest until midday, so I spent time going through the schedule and making calendar entries for panels I wished to attend. Then I got a text message.

Sweetie Belle: "This is it, girls. This dress-up princess contest is finally here. We've been preparing for it, practised all our moves, and learnt how to trot without tripping on the hems of our dresses. You ready to wow the crowd?"
Apple Bloom: "And then maybe we'll finally get our Cutie Marks!"
Applejack: "Big Mac, what are ya doin'? You're only supposed to pick one header image for these darn things!"
Big Mac: [eyes dart down, then back up]
APPLE BLOOM: "...Do you reckon this is an accurate depiction of how these episodes are written on a weekly basis?"
SCOOTALOO: "I don't know about that, but this certainly feel like an accurate depiction of how the cold opens for these reviews are done!"
Rarity: "Stop the presses! It's Wednesday evening! Mike Cartoon Pony is posting another blog on unused Season 5 episodes! Forget these dresses for a client coming in an hour, this is The. Most. Important. Thing!"
Spike: "This thing again, huh? Going right in with the episodes locked to a formula, I see."
Applejack: "Wow Spike, that's mighty insightful of ya. How'd you deduce that so quick?"

I wanted to write up a “Day 2” and “Day 3” blog post, but, frankly, I was too tired to do either. But I took notes, so CLEARLY THIS IS TOTALLY CROMULENT.
Day 2 started with me going to Taco Bell for breakfast and getting some box thing for $5. It was actually fairly decent – I don’t get why people complain about Taco Bell. Sure, it only has like five ingredients, but they’re decent ones.
Rarity: "…Let me guess, one of today's episodes prominently features you?"
Rainbow Dash: "Heh, actually, they both do! But don't worry, you get in on the action in one of them too."
Rarity: "Oh! Another episode pairing us up? That can only lead to unexpected things. Do tell, Rainbow Dash."
