Then I remembered people Sunset's redemption at the end of the first movie, when it first came out, was unrealistic, or something. Well, at just about the 24-hour mark, Sunset's Overdue Paper has over 400 hits and a 93% upvote ratio.

So obviously most of you liked it. When I got up this afternoon, I did bow to some criticism and removed some of the lyrics to My Past Is Not Today, which in addition to The Fall of Sunset Shimmer served as the primary inspiration for this oneshot.

I'm just hoping there's something akin to that coming up in the Equestria Girls spin off.
