This was a pretty sweet episode. Nothing spectacular, just enjoyable. Nothing much else to be said, but as the new writers grow, we might get something as interesting as it is sweet. Unto the thoughts~

This was another fun one. Mysteries, and deduction, and a bit of silliness. I don't have much to say for the moment, but it was definitely interesting.
Well, this was an interesting one. I'm glad the writers remembered Starlight is supposed to be one of the focal girls, now, at least. I feel like the episode was a bit late for the kind of conflict it had, but I feel there are some stuff worth noting. With that, unto my thoughts~
If my month so far is an example of the year to come, then 2018 is going to be great.
Admittedly, it started off rather poorly. I wrote less than 2,300 words for the entirety of the first week of January. It looked like my little pledge to myself to hit 1,500 words/day for the month was a pipe dream.
Now for the last early released episode of season 6, after which we've got another hiatus. Lovely.
This was a pretty decent episode, at any rate. This time, sadly no exposition and world-building, which would have been nice...
Some sportlyness, featuring hidden depths and incompetent goals, rather than goalkeepers. Another positive moral, and a pretty fun episode. Your standard fare, and following the rule of slice of life this season has set, it seems. I have rather little to say about it for the moment, but I liked it, at least.
Well, this was a lovely episode. More on the story-telling than the interaction, which is an all right approach, and though it would have benefited from extended time for things to be fleshed out, I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. Even if it's another A Christmas Carol type of episode. Mostly for being a musical episode with quite a bit of feeling and superb animation. Well, this was okay. I enjoyed it. So cringe-worthy, but not really bad. I think the central message for the episode, on how to cope with achieving your dream and not quite being able to get things the way you want it shouldn't hinder you from making the best of it all, is rather positive and helpful. Also, quite a bit of fun here. To the rapid-fire thoughts!
Another low-key, but positive episode I liked. I hope the writers will get back to the more significant type of episode that tends to contribute to the status quo soon, but as said, I enjoyed this.:3 Unto the few thoughts, then!
I like this episode. While it doesn't explore the topic in-depth, it does a pretty good job indirectly addressing Fluttershy's own growth through her brother and her parents. Also, we get to learn more about the relations between characters.
The moral is rather appropriate and positive, too. Now then, unto the thoughts!

I rather liked this episode. To me, it was a slightly above average filler episode with sharp writing and good humour. Great character interaction, much fun, and a good moral. Not bad for the new writers.:3 Now then, let me see~
So, it seems the season finale was released by the UK as a result of unknown silliness. (Supposedly intentionally?) So I went ahead and watched it. It was pretty fun.
I have some few thoughts about the episode, so let's get to them.
I was away today, and only just got to watch the episode. It was another all right episode, featuring a new song, good character dynamic and some fun. The moral of the episode was wonderful, although I'm not sure why Rarity had to learn it as well. It irks me a tad that we don't have the custom credits roll tracks anymore. I hope they'll return soon. I don't have much to say about this one in terms of lore or world-building or anything, but let's go!
All right, this is a bit of an interesting episode. Obviously, this marks another milestone for Rarity, having been able to expand her business twice with success, gradually rising in renown. She's achieving her ambition! Only, one thing, at least her friends fear, might stand in the way of this. Well, this is an interesting episode. I feel that the premise is a tad arbitrary— much like last week's episode, this is a lesson that Rainbow should already have long learnt. But in spite of that, the imagery is just so good. Holy crud, even when knowing the gist of the plot it was actually pretty exciting. So, as usual, have some thoughts!
It's finally here, this new season! Now I can get my weekly fix of ponies. Twilight Sparkle has come a long way since she was a student, and now, she's even taken on a student of her own in a field she'd never imagined she'd spend her life pursuing. Of course, it's time to present her student with a path of her own. Interestingly, this is is a set of two independent episodes. I wonder what's up with that?
