"Perfectly Immoral Moral Person" and "Fantastical Explorer" I will not succumb to this hunger. Let these pages sate yours as well as mine. Also, I'd like longer eyelashesO_o

Newbie Dash, various thoughts · 4:28pm May 7th, 2016

Well, this was okay. I enjoyed it. So cringe-worthy, but not really bad. I think the central message for the episode, on how to cope with achieving your dream and not quite being able to get things the way you want it shouldn't hinder you from making the best of it all, is rather positive and helpful. Also, quite a bit of fun here. To the rapid-fire thoughts!

—The Wonderbolts can be pretty nasty, but I guess they weren't all that malicious? Something like within the military, I guess? I find it a bit of a stretch with how they've been like toward Rainbow from the get-go, but at the same time I can understand the nick-naming and push-push-discipline dynamic that they've proven to have in common with the military.
—The name "Crash" could become a properly cool title if Rainbow managed to achieve a positive feat that the nickname would suit. It doesn't have to be just a painful reminder of failures.
Communication is an issue that I think we need a refresher on. Rainbow should have taken up her concerns with Spitfire. There needs to be a time where characters understand that communicating is important, when such issues arise.
—Fluttershy appears to have much larger hips than AJ during one shot. Is that an intentional reference to how endowed she is, or what...?
—Seriously, what's with the Spike abuse? Am I the only one who doesn't like that?
—Rarity called her Dashie. What? Oh my gosh, are they best friends too? :rainbowkiss:
—Well what do you know, pegasus wings are pretty prehensile.
—I really like how much of the knowledge Rainbow's acquired thanks to her studying technique she gets to show off in this.
—"Captain Awesome" is so what Rainbow would call herself were she a superhero with a secret identity.
Rainbow the impressionist strikes again. Wow, that's awesome. And the Rarity impression that's so meta. I see what you did there with Generation 3 lore.
—SWEET CORN

I never noticed that

I didn't like it, but wasn't horrible. Message was good, but it could've been done differently.

I'll put this as worst episode of Season six at the moment, still a strong season though. Hope next weekends episode is good.
