Marked a few things here and there to rewrite in the original fiction, but it's not nearly as much rewriting that I need to do as with Into Equestria.
Speaking of which, I still haven't gotten started on the next chapter yet.
It completely slipped my mind that last week I crossed the coveted mark of having reviewed 100 fics. I can’t say for certain how long I thought I’d be doing this when I started, though I was pretty certain I’d keep it going for the rest of 2022 anyway. The surprise is that I gained decent traction and a not-half-bad following, given I didn’t even have 40 followers before I started this, and now I have double that. Truly, this is a great community, and I love that you folks enjoy my review
Welcome to Horsing Around; today we will once again celebrate another accomplishment. We recently gained fifteen followers and over three hundred views on my first fan fiction in a little over a month of publishing. Although it's most certainly not my best work, I'm glad people can enjoy it. Though I recommend more people to please read the sequel! Me and my co-author ponyfag-not-brony worked very hard on making it perfect! More updates on the way!
I didn't catch it day 1, but I have now watched My Little Pony: A New Generation. It liked it. I really want to get to know and explore the very different places the separated pony societies live in, and the main characters are all a lot of fun to watch. Izzy Moonbow and Donut Lord Hitch Trailblazer are my definite favourite characters. When it comes to the Friendship is Magic connection, i'm content with the fact that they referenced it, but otherwise allowed this film to stand on it's
Greetings and salutation, my name is Wrex and this is my review. Here's a story that will look familiar. It's 'Sonic the Hedgehog x My Little Pony: A New Generation', self-explain. I got to be honest, I had serious Deja Vu with this one. It was similar to my first Gen 5 review. I did enjoy the changes and alterations that were done. It felt nice to read this story base again, but slightly different. Aside from some profanity and grammatical errors, I definitely recommend this for fans of the
By some miracle, I finally 100%-ed the survival-survival horror game The Forest (“survival-survival” because it’s a “survival game” like, say, Minecraft but also a “survival horror” game like Resident Evil). I promptly moved on to another title, which led me to playing the little-known Indonesian horror DreadOut. For those of you who don’t know, which I imagine is all of you, DreadOut is essentially a bootleg Fatal Frame: ghost opponents, a camera as a weapon, and
Mixed February for this spirit so far; been perpetually under-the-weather for two weeks now, just enough to take regular painkillers. I’ve had it worse, but it’s always gone quicker than this. On the other hand, good experiences with friends lately, what it’s all about, and while I haven’t made much of any progress on the writing front lately, the torch is still burning on the development cycle. So, not much, but not nothing.
Eh, already done the episodes, specials and movies. Why not the villains?
0/10 - AWFUL (unsalvageable, never should have been made, wouldn't recommend to anyone)
1/10 - HORRIBLE/BORING (tedious, hurts to watch, a bore, no reason to watch him/her, whatever positive things about him/her are tiny and not enough)
Hello everyone and welcome back to the question of the week.
So I'll just go ahead and say that I am planning on doing an update on my story, Neo Somnambula, in the near future. Currently just trying to finish things up.
In the meantime, let's ask a question.
As some of you know, I really enjoy table top roleplaying games (ttrpg), and I love seeing conversions for games that allow players to play as ponies in the game.
I know of at least a few dnd 5e conversions.
Hello everyone and welcome back. I hope you've all had a good week (so far) and are ready for the question of the week.
Last week (if I remember correctly) I had asked a question pertaining to the Power Ponies. Well, in the show it was never revealed (as far as I know) who the the writer (or one of the writers) was for the Power Ponies comics.
I’m by no means well-versed how bank holidays work for the Americans in the crowd, but they’ve always been an anomaly for me: when you’re in school or college, it never feels like a day off, due to pressure, from parents, society or oneself, to keep up with the study, especially in exam-adjacent periods. Only since I became a “normal” employee of society have they felt like an actual day off.
14 shorts in, and I am unsure whether it’s wise to continue much further with Commentary Corner for Tell Your Tale. Already the repeated facepalm “really?” moments of the characterisation are grating to watch, write about, and probably to read. And as I suspected for this series, the largely rigid-formula limits how much new can be said each week. Not unless one has mastered the art of this brand of snarky-and-sincere commentary, or has a larger audience. Certainly, to go all the way to
Hitch: "Mares and stallions, I present to you: McSnips-A-Lot. The true protagonist of Generation Five. Capable of quality cushion plumping, model carnage, and gives a smashing manecut. Truly a fun personality destined to win the hearts of millions."
Today’s blurb is prepped in advance, as I’m taking advantage of a bank holiday weekend here to catch Spider Man: Across the Spider-Verse (film will be over by the time this goes up, ssh ). Really hoping its masterful precursor and all the hype/word-of-mouth prove true, and that my mild worry on the more standard superhero plot and dialogue in the trailers is unwarranted.
Do… Do I have something genuinely interesting to talk about two weeks in a row? I… I think I do. Yes, shocking, I know. You all know how this year is Disney100, celebrating their centennial as a company? Which, being the 2020s, means they are doing the most shameless nostalgia capitalisation possible. But even a stopped clock is right twice a day, as with them re-releasing these films over the next two months:
While I do consider myself an animation connoisseur, I can sometimes be limited in what I watch. I certainly don’t check out as much indie web animation as I should, for a start, and that’s a pity, because a lot of it’s great. I bring this up because just last week, a new show pilot has gone absolutely viral, to the tune of 47+ million views in seventeen days. If you keep even a vague eye on such things, you’ve no doubt already heard of it: it’s The Amazing Digital Circus.
Fluttershy: "Oh, um, today is World Kindness Day. Ghost Mike would give you all a hug of appreciation, but his kind has difficulty doing that with the living. So he asked me to help. Which I was only too happy to, Kindness being my Element and all.
