**Spoilers for MLP The Light of Harmonys Hope, if you care for that sort of thing (And yes, I messed up the angle proportions of the front, and side views, but noone's perfect i'm afraid. All I can say is sorry, and hope you all like it.^^;)**
Another item of importance to appear in the story that you might find interesting. While I AM sticking to the meat of Season 9's plot, i'm also expanding upon it by having it based on a few other sources. Aside from The Dark Crystal, LOTR, and The Legend of Spyro 3, there is also a bit of Mortal Kombat 11 involving the Hourglass of Kronika. Only there is no Kronika involved. It's just the hourglass, which I officially named the Cronusphere due to its control over ALL of time, itself. The Cronusphere's entire purpose is to ensure the flow of time in the Harmoniaverse is maintained, and kept in order. However, someone with powerful magic, and will could influence the sands of time, and influence the hourglass in order to create parallel timelines from the one you and I know. Even go so far as to travel to the dawn of creation itself, and rewrite history all together.
The Helm of Eternity is the one true means of controlling such power, however.
A hybrid of the crown of Kronika, and the Kabutos of The Shredder and Shao Kahn (you'll see soon enough why no skull mask is present in that case), this is a helmet that can actually clip open, and closed for those with two horns, like a Stag, minotaur, satyr......or even a centaur. This alone gives the wearer the ability to reverse time, or manipulate the reality of others, along with the people within, to a lesser degree at its base power. However, in order to fully master the Cronusphere's power, it needs to be fueled by the living essence of Equestria, or any world since essence is essence. And even more, the Helm needs an immense supply of souls to further enhance its power. For every soul's living existence prior to its extraction - every single scrap of time the mortal held - is stored inside the soul. Basically, every soul's own lifespan adds to the Helmet, and further strengthens its control over the Cronusphere. And ANY soul can be added to The Helm's storage capacity to further strengthen it - even magical essence will strengthen it. This includes the Archangels we know as The bahamut, and their demonic counterparts, The Djinn. If their souls were absorbed, then The Helm of Eternities power would indeed become infinite.
Whoever can both possess and wield the full power of the Helm can control The Cronusphere, and the one who can control the Hourglass of Cronus controls all of time, space, and reality with the combined power of the helm, the sphere, and its bearer making them a Primordial Ruler among mortals.
