Anyone want to brainstorm Daughter of DIscord: Of Love and Darkness? · 12:14am Jul 1st, 2023
As I said, i've been stuck on this most recent chapter for ages, and i've been preoccupied with other projects. However, my interest in working on this most recent chapter has begun to spike. Yet I remain stuck on ideas, and what to do for this next chapter. That's where you folks come in. I just need some folks to help me come up with some ideas for the chapter so I can get back to writing. Hopefully, there are still those interested in my story willing to help me out. At this point, i'm very desperate. So is anyone willing to help, or no?
I vaguely remember that Mothball and Screwball had finally recoiled, and figured out Tirek's/Chrysalis' plans.
But several changeling soldiers caught them?

Mothball and Zany were caught by the guards. But i'm considering having Tirek use his stolen chaos magic to summon the both of them so that he can enact his plan.

I'm not sure. I'm mainly looking to bounce ideas off of someone, and see if they might be worth using. Like should I have Tirek interfere with the battle of Ponyville by appearing just as the changelings do?

Personally, I think that he should come out at the very last minute. To go for a hidden sneak attack to try to absorb every ponies magic, specifically Discord's and Twilight's first.
When every pony think that the day was saved and that Chrysalis was defeated by Mothball/Screwball love blast from the original.
But unlike the original story, Chrysalis didn't blast off like team rocket. And was badly beaten, and at everypony's mercy.
And just when Mothball, Screwball, and everypony else still realize that this isn't really over and that Tirek is out there.
That's when Tirek strikes.
OR instead going after everypony in Ponyville. He either goes to attack the princesses to take their alicorn magic. Or target the tree of harmony itself, while everypony is distracted by Chrysalis.

Those are some....interesting ideas, i'll admit. But I was thinking that Tirek would join Chrysalis and the Changelings during their attack. And perhaps during the battle, after Chrysalis strikes down Fluttershy and then duels DIscord, Tirek strikes them both down. He then teleports Mothball, and Zany to ponyville and has his minions hurt him. Thus causing Screwball to break her contract because Tirek added a clause that says he would be safe so long as Screwball was able to protect him. Because she failed, she forfeited her freedom to Tirek and was thus leverage for Tirek to strike a final deal with Discord. The same kind of deal Ursula made with Triton for his daughter.

I don't have a draft. I'm just coming up with random ideas, and seeing if my fellow collaborator thinks it's a good idea or not. I'm still open to suggestions, but I also want opinions.

I thought it would be better that Tirek would do a sneak attack on them after Chrysalis is defeated. Or go after the princesses or even the tree of harmony instead to get more powerful.

Except there is no Tree of Harmony in "Daughter of DIscord". Maybe I could have General Mantis, and his partners go to the Princesses to try and save the day, only for Tirek to draw them into the same deal as Discord with them taking Screwball and Mothball's places to save their lives. And in turn, give up their magic and souls to Tirek.

That's the general idea with this Tirek. He isn't messing around this time. He wants them to suffer like he's suffered for thousands of years, and the daughter of Discord and Fluttershy is a very precious commodity.
