I know the movies were released shortly after their TV debut, but I don't remember an individual episode being available so soon.

They are going to replace Flurry Heart. That's why we see the changeling in the episode that introduces Flurry Heart, as well as the one where she's born. Remember Starlight also appeared in episodes relevant to her, the first where there's someone who abandoned their old friend because they were a higher achiever, and the other where they mention the consequences of time travel. The Changeling appears right after the scene with naming Flurry Heart.

Okay you know something? This episode was really good in my opinion. It's showing that Fluttershy, as meek as she's known to be, is very capable of being assertive and feeling annoyed and angry as any other pony is, she just does not like showing it all that much. In this episode though, she doesn't hide it and it's great. It shows us just how far Fluttershy's come since the first season, and that she might actually not even be the meekest one in her family.
