For a couple reasons.
First, the leak. Until all four final episodes have aired, either here or across the pond, I want to make sure I don't run into any spoilers. When I've watched all four remaining episodes in order, I'll be back.
Secondly, if you've been to my profile page in the last few hours, you'll probably notice that I've been putting nearly all of my free time and energy into preparing for Extra Life 2016. I've donated to this charity in years past, and I'm very excited to be participating in it myself this time around, along with Brady. We've got to get some streaming equipment, a broadcasting license for Xsplit, an HDMI splitter, cables, and lastly, practice with Twitch a few times so we don't screw anything up come November 5th.
And I don't care how little you can donate. Only $1 or $2? Awesome. Go for it. Seriously, every little bit helps. Meeting our rather modest goal this year will help push us to find ways to increase it next year. I haven't streamed regularly since Fall 2009 (weekly nights of Firefight on Halo 3 ODST with prize giveaways). If this proves as fun as I remember it, who knows, I'd love to take it up again if I could.
So that's all for now. I'll be around once these four episodes appear safely.
Yeah, I'm trying to avoid both Fimfic and YouTube lately. It's ridiculous.

It's hard to say which is worse: Watching the finale early and not being able to talk about it without hiding everything behind spoiler marks or trying to avoid any spoilers at all. I will say that nothing in the finale spoils any of the episodes that haven't aired yet (of which now there's only one). And secondly, it's sooooooo good! It's definitely worth watching over and over again. I'll definitely watch it again when it airs.

4247723 I know, right? They just keep topping themselves with each season. The new form of the changelings reminds me of the flutter ponies from G1. I also want to see more interaction between Trixie and Discord. Next season, Starlight Glimmer had better be careful around any new ponies wanting to be her friend. They could be Chrysalis in disguise.
4247734 Yep, it actually met all my hopes, except one. Sunburst didn't make an appearance. I was 100% he'd be in her group.
4247739 Well, he did send Thorax for help, so he had a minor role, albeit not on screen. It's not like he would have added much to the group either in terms of ability or group dynamics since he wouldn't have his magic. Besides, didn't you know that only female ponies are allowed to save Equestria?
