A new edition of Retro Corner is available as I close out this three-part Star Wars review series. In this edition, I will be checking out the Star Wars Trilogy: The Arcade Game released in 1998 and developed by Sega. During the 90s, LucasArts was mainly the developer of most of the series' games, but their were times they licensed to other studios. Sega was among these companies and its understandable as to why they were giving the license and they had experience in developing Light
thoughts about these thoughts:
I can't believe it's out! And this game is only just a month away now!
Now, I haven't been shy about not being a fan of Epic's bribe-to-victory strategy, plus a whole slew of anti-consumer crap I'm not going to dwell further on...
But they're giving away Ghostbusters: The Video Game right now, and that game has a special place in my heart.
So much, in fact, that I own as many different versions of the game that I can.
I guess it's kind of easy to just go to my favorite video game, but it's my favorite, how can I not talk about it.
So yesterday my parents, sister, and I went shopping. My dad went to the sporting goods store to look for Binoculars and left me and my sister at gamestop. Now, my parents are notoriously stuck-up when it comes to the content of video games. My sister wanted Assassins Creed: Black Flag and was worried that our parents wouldn't let her have it because it's rated M. (our parents have NEVER previously allowed us to have an M rated game) I figured she had a chance (considering now that she's 16 and
Just a bit of the back story to set up the game.
Have you seen Manos: The Hands of Fate?
The Legend of Zelda minus Zelda.
I appreciate that Nintendo took the lessons that they learned from the Ocarina of Time and took more risks. And those risks certainly paid off. There are a lot of positives to go over in this game, so let's get into it.
Yes indeed! The long-awaited convention for all thing video games is back and better than ever! Oh man, I can't wait to finally get into some of the stuff this year! There's gonna be Fallout, Pokemon, Quake, Star Wars, Elder Scro-
...what? E3 started yesterday? And the EA and Bethesda conferences are already finished?
...
...oh.
How did everyone feel when Mass Effect: Andromeda and No Man's Sky were delayed?
I'm quite a fan of Dark Souls. Not sure if I've ever mentioned it, but it did take quite a few play-throughs and lore videos before I wrapped my head around the famously (intentionally) scattered and vague story.
So color me surprised, when some chap managed to boil it down to a ten minute video, and make it a damn pretty and well narrated one at that.
Naturally, spoiler warning.
Y'know how words can cause associations that completely defy the intent of the creators of something?
Take Galarian ponyta. Cute, princess Celestia colored pokemon, right? Seems harmless enough.
Ok, so my rock told me that there are ponies coming to save me, but they ran into a delay.... Yep... A long "hiatus"... on rescuing me... So until the plan continues, I shall continue surviving here!
A new review from Retro Corner is up as I check out the fourth entry in the series known as Doom 64 for N64. This was among the first FPSs to hit the N64 in 1997 which we all know was the year of Golden Eye. Doom 64 wasn't a port of Doom II or Final Doom like it was for the Original on Super NES. It was an exclusive game developed in the Doom Engine to work around the N64's hardware. So how does a game developed from the ground up on the N64 holds up to other FPSs during that time? Check out
You will never guess what I found on this island!!! A volleyball!!! You can bet your flank I'll name it Wilson!
Not only that, but I managed to built an awesome home, some rock friends, a pool, an apartment complex, a restaur...
Oh who am I kidding! I can't built anything!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAh!
Stay tuned for next week's post...
Hello, I am back with an all new game that is based on a fimfiction. I can't type much more on it, since I am being timed to make it. Hopefully I'll have a full video of it by tomorrow.
Hint: Island
Welp... Is that even a word? Anyway, so I am still in the island. Not much else to say.
