I notice that this page doesn't get a lot of activity but I'm curious about my fellow service bronies/ fanfic writer's/ enthusiasts. And I'm not really one to pry for anyone's personal info, but if you're feeling open, why not MOS and paygrade while you're at it? If you want to preserve your identity, that's cool too.

I'll go first: United States Army Reserves, E4, 13F/ Fire Support Specialist

I actually have huge respect for you guys. My Father was a Petty Officer in the Navy, served for twenty years. My Grandfather and four uncles were also enlisted men. I'll be the first Officer in my Family. Even though I might have higher rank and pay, I won't look down on you guys

475883 Ah, I'm just yanking your chain and ponying pony, future sir.

Pony ponies on your own time future subordinate!
I'm enjoying this too much :pinkiecrazy:

I've been hearing some stories of what happens to us FNL's....

Former USMC E-8, Master Sergeant. Higher than all y'all! Except you, 475254, I mean... sir. I led the Echo Company out of the 2nd Battalion Infantry, Platoon 2562. I was shot in the back of the leg and received an honorable discharge. I think I'll rejoin in a few more years.

DAMNIT! I miss it!

803374 none of that made much sense....what regiment and there is one 1st 2nd 3rd and WPNS plt. are you talking about a boot camp platoon?

490166 you talkin about fucking new LT as in butter bar? depends on your MOS. if your infantry just keep a hands off approach and dont treat your platoon like you are better than they are. infantry is disiplined. You can be as cool as you want with us and it would be best to let it come back your way. we never forget that rank is rank despite inexpierence.
You dont want to be in country with a platoon that thinks of you as an outsider

819431
Yeah, I was in a boot camp platoon and was in the wrong place at the wrong time. One of the recruits was showing off to a group of his friends and didn't have the safety on. Hit me in the leg. I can't specifically remember which regiment.

819448 hahahahahaha thats fucking hillarious

820636
I didn't think so at the time. Looking back on it, I realize that yeah, it is pretty hilarious, isn't it?
