'Most ponies sleep during the night. They would have the sweeter dreams, because they are under her wing. They would curl up in their little beds and drift off in a sweet slumber. I can't. I'm not normal. I look into a mirror, into anything. I don't have a reflection. When I sleep, they're horrible and horrid dreams. Why would I bother to sleep?'
An unnamed unicorn suddenly appears in a small but famous town by the name of Ponyville. She hasn't slept, she doesn't seem normal, is she normal? An alicorn named Twilight Sparkle takes interest into finding about the pony's past. A past the little pony herself doesn't remember. But that past changes everything in Equestria.

1. The pony in the story is not my own OC. So it's not a self-insert.
