Fleeting Light Book - Now Available!

Well, it took a bit longer than I wanted, but I finally finished updating the FIMFiction versions of the stories in the Fleeting Light series—and caught like three more errors in the printed version—so the book is now officially for sale!

It's just under a week away and I cannot wait, so I figured a reminder post about Everfree Northwest would be a good idea.

Fleeting Light Print - Ready to Go

Finally got things locked in for my book. It's all ready for Everfree Northwest in August (and Lulu just afterwards).

The exterior cover and interior story art have also been shared on Twitter, so here's my post to share them with everyone here if you have not seen them.

    Covers, Both Inside and Out

I received the second proof of my printing of the Fleeting Light series, and besides some brightness issues that I'm getting tips on correcting, it turned out incredibly.

So, I think it's time to show off a commission I'm beyond ecstatic and pleased with how it turned out. Say goodbye to the old blandness:

Interest Check - Printing a Book · 5:08am Aug 31st, 2022

Everfree Northwest was a lot of fun. I got to hang out with a lot of friends I only speak to through the computer, bought way too much merch but held myself from back buying a very expensive plush, failed to try Iron Author because of a sudden sickness, ate way too much food and of course picked up a yearning for writing again.

I've never been the best at post-con blogs, so I'm not gonna really try that here, but that last bit is what's important. I've already written a little bit on a few ideas that came to mind while digging up old ones (and looking back at my Mares in the Moon outline and how I'm gonna untangle a lot of notes there).

However, the thing on my mind a lot is a side project, something I wanted to do since posting They're Never Coming Back in 2020: Printing the Fleeting Light series.

So, I feel the best course of action is to do as I always do and put the idea out there to put some semblance of pressure on myself.

Hit up this poll and leave a comment. I'd love to know what you all think.

Hopefully you'll also see some stories and chapters posted soon.

I'd definitely be interested.

I'd absolutely love to have a printed copy of the full series. I adore these stories a lot and and still think about them occasionally. Any idea how exactly you would translate the invisible ink from the original story into print?

I've been considering adding footnotes of some kind, or a different font with footnotes explaining them.

Second option is better especially if it's a font that resembles handwriting

Would absolutely do this - one of my favorite series on the site. It was an honor and a pleasure to proofread and edit.

I would love a print edition of the stories! Yes please!

I would LOVE to get printed book of my favorite mlp fanfiction series! ^^
Dreamed about that for some time, actually.
