We got a HOUSE!!!!!! · 9:15pm Jun 22nd, 2022
So, if you didn't know from my previous blog, me and my fiance Dreams of Ponies had been on the hunt for a house. And let me tell you, house hunting is hecking stressful. I had to be the "Calm one" Amidst a storm of houses that needed a lot of TLC, dumster fires, and houses that were just kind of meh.
But there was ONE particular house we fell in love with. I'm not going give the address out, but I will tell you it's still in Buffalo, so we won't be moving too far which is always a plus. This house had everything we wanted, 3 bedrooms, a nice kitchen, and a full bathroom. Plus a HUGE backyard area for a future frog garden. Tehehehe
Originally when we bid on the house, we got outbid, which SUCKED. Dreams and I were both super depressed about it, because WE REALLY REALLY wanted this.
Two Days Later, he calls me and tells me he has bad and good news. So I'm like give me the bad news first, it'll make the good news better.
He told me he had to cancel the house tours we were going do that night, and I'm like it's okay, there will always be more houses.
And then he's like "Remember the house?"
And I'm like "Mhmm"
Then he tells me the house we wanted all along is OURS.
Because the people ahead of us pulled out
I cannot tell you how happy this has made me, I feel just so bubbly, and feel good all over. And since closing takes 30 to 90 days, we'll be moving to the hotel I work at in the meantime until we can move in.
Thank you to everyone that donated money for helping me with rent. And even if you couldn't donate, I appreciate you. Truly, this fandom has made me a better mare, and I'm constantly striving to improve.
