Dan Vs. Season 1 Complete · 3:16pm Jun 7th, 2022
As of last night, I have completed Dan Vs. The Magic of Friendship(Season 1). It's been a massive effort, but one I was happy to do. The better part of ten years I've spent thinking, considering, planning and writing this story. A lot has changed since then. A lot of realities I have had to face. But at my heart, my core goal and messages for the story have not changed. It's a story for the fans, myself included. For those who want to be part of this world. For those who want a home of some sort in fiction.
It's yours.
Going forward, I do not plan to make the same effort with Season 2 of the story. It'll be updated as needed rather than weekly, something I'm more comfortable with. I do plan on continuing to write and create content, and work on my other stories as well, but I'm not able to write as much at this time as I'd like to. I need to work on other areas of my life, including my health. I may be suffering from "Long COVID," and its repercussions. I did test positive for COVID-19 in January despite being vaccinated and boosted, and I firmly believe I would have suffered far greater than I did if not for the vaccine and booster.
I need to focus on other areas of my life. I need to get out there and do more. So while I'm not leaving or stopping my writing, and I never intend to do either of those things, I am putting it on the backburner. My financial and health situations are going to be my areas of primary concern, but I also intend on getting out into the world more and contributing in general. As I've said before, voting is the beginning of participation in an electoral society, and it is far from the end. For what I can do, I intend to do my best effort to make this world a better place however I can. With more than just writing.

Really, Congratulations, you stuck to your guns on this project for so long: You deserve nothing but a break. I'll start reading this masterpiece real soon.
