Hello y’all! The next installment of Electro Swing is out...? Wait, no it’s not! Crap. Sorry, in truth, two days ago, I tossed out every word I had written in the past two weeks (a little under 3K words) into the dustbin and restarted Chapter 22 fresh. So, while I was hoping to get the next installment of Electro Swing out today, I spent far longer than I thought I would picking through a draft written in collaboration with a little-known writer on the platform, Wanderer D, and their story, Sunset’s Isekai.
If you want some more Luna and Athena shenanigans like Only in My Memories, then you should have some fun reading this one. In fact, I suggest reading Only in My Memories if you haven’t since it’s partially referenced here along with stuff ongoing in Electro Swing proper.
As far as canonicity of this little multidimensional venture, I’ll leave it up to the reader. I had a lot of fun writing with Wanderer. Probably my favorite exchange we had during the process was right at the end after we were wrapping it and I was checking for GSP errors. Keep in mind, everything below the blue heart occurred several hours later during my final editing pass.
It's nice to know we're both idiots at the end of the day.
10/10 would collab with Wanderer D again. Very fun fic to work with that I'd been meaning to catch up on, and being invited to write a chapter was a pretty damn good reason. Favorite chapters of the ones I read? The Zootopia arc hands and hooves down. Great little adventure to really sink your teeth into. Scorpia's visit is a close second, but I also love She-Ra and he nailed Scorpia's voice.
Anywho, Chapter 22 will come out when it comes out. I will be on Spring Break for the next two weeks, so I have plenty of time to focus.
