How Do You Guys Write So Good?

Recently, I've written a new story called "Mindscapers".

Despite how many upvotes it has, it's still seen as meh and not as good as popular stories like "Why Bother?" in Fimfiction. Aside from that, I've seen many stories here that have been praised and seen as good, great, or even amazing masterpieces from others compared to my own. So, I gotta ask: how do you guys write so good and what can I do to improve my own writing, especially my prose?

I don't see myself as a good writer, rather a mediocre one. Some of my stories have their fans who enjoy them and that is a boost to my confidence.

As someone who first started writing at around the age of 12 or 13, I can give you this bit of advice: Write what you like and write for yourself, and don't be too harsh on yourself by comparing your work to other writers.
