Perhaps short updates will be the norm for now, especially when there isn't much to publish in the immediate future. But some explaining first:
I was out of writing action for about a week or so due to computer issues and not backing up my files. Fortunately, they're all recovered, though I am on a temporary set-up in the meantime (though it should be a blessing in disguise: I can perhaps move more stuff into the cloud or external hard drives). Thus, there's been less progress this month than expected.
Still, things are looking up for now. There's a pair of recent chapters for The Little Curiosities, for one. In addition, I may be able to get that Equestria Girls short story out before the end of the year, and then there's the Crystal War story's third editing pass to begin right after that, if God wills it.
As for reading... I've lost track for a while when I was out of writing action, but I picked back up, starting with David Baldacci's The Hit and now going through Michael Connelly's 9 Dragons. No fan fiction to read yet, though I'll give leeway during the Christmas season.

Thanks for the greetings! Also, I am interested in Dawn of a New Age, but I'll clear out my current to-read Fimfiction bookshelf first before putting it on, especially since it's getting on the long side. Looking forward to hop back into the Spiral of Fate train!

Maybe we can show this picture in a shrunk size and ask people here on the spot whether this is Screwloose or not. It'd be a decent so-called social experiment, to say the least!
Speaking of, I tried looking on Derpibooru to see if there's any fan art with both Screwloose and Shoeshine together. There's a dearth there, but I found this one about them being sisters, with Screwloose going astray later on in life:
