    All Possible Worlds: A Sequel

Thank you so much everyone! Technically it's been a few weeks since the last person filled out my little questionnaire. Nevertheless, I am quite astounded by the amount of answers I got, especially considering that this was just a minor fanfiction that ended some time ago on a show that ended also some time ago. I am, to say, overwhelmed by the surprising amount of answers. So, thank you

The Worst of All Possible Worlds Sequel Questionnaire

Before I forget for the seventh time, I meant to create a post about the recent chapter for The Worst of All Possible Worlds. It contained at the end a request for answering a Google Form to help discern some questions I have about a sequel. It's short, and won't take up much of your time, but I meant to create a post about it so that those who want to give it some thought would have easier

Quick Not Dead Post & The Alicorn Problems Preview

Yo. Just wanted to say that I'm not dead and haven't quit. Not really much to say other than some of the stuff I've been working on. There's a new chapter to The Worst of All Possible Worlds dropping some time soon as a prelude to a sequel. Wasn't originally planning on doing a sequel to TWoAPW. Probably shouldn't do a sequel. But I'm going to because—eh, why not?

    New Story: The Alicorn Problem

I've decided to finally publish something instead of holding onto it for eons out of fear of it being terrible. I've got to stop letting doubts and perfectionism cease my progress. Can't get better if there's no feedback.

All Possible Worlds: A Sequel · 4:21pm Sep 1st, 2021

Thank you so much everyone! Technically it's been a few weeks since the last person filled out my little questionnaire. Nevertheless, I am quite astounded by the amount of answers I got, especially considering that this was just a minor fanfiction that ended some time ago on a show that ended also some time ago. I am, to say, overwhelmed by the surprising amount of answers. So, thank you everyone! And to those who skimmed the questions and chose not to answer, I also thank, because that's what I'm known to do!

Obviously I'm not going to go into all my plans or what exactly shocked me about some of the choices made, but I will be going into a few things for the sequel. Including the title: The Best From All Possible Worlds. What? It doesn't just roll off the tongue? Well, perhaps I should've included that in the questionnaire. Of course, unlike The Worst of All Possible Worlds—which focused primarily on Sunset Shimmer—The Best From All Possible Worlds will be, well, focusing on those worlds and going into more of what it's been like living in each of them. We'll actually get to spend time enjoying the view rather than rushing through a world to get home.

Oh, I suppose that might elude to a premise, wouldn't it? Not forcing our main character(s) to want to head home? Well, that is two things I can go into, first being the who. Before motioning over the spoiler tag and revealing whom, I would like to say I plan on using "They" as the identity for the rest of this post so that those who don't want to be spoiled, won't be. Now, they are: The very wonderful villainous trio, Tirek, Chrysalis, and Cozy Glow! This actually changes nothing. They are who I wanted to write about originally, and surprisingly, they were also the winner. I suppose it makes sense.

But now it makes sense as to why they are not being forced home, eh? It doesn't? It doesn't make any sense in terms of when and how they would even get to these other worlds? Good thing I already have all that figured out! And for once, I'm not lying!

That's all I'll go into for now about the questionnaire. Honestly, there's much I could go into, but I best not. Instead, I would also like to make a request along side this sequel announcement! I know, I know. I just requested you to fill out a questionnaire. I'm asking a lot. But this won't take up much of your time, I swear! In fact, it really won't take much of any!

This sequel is going to be around for, well, quite some time. Unless I die in the middle of writing it. It took, what, two years for me to finish the first story? I'm so SLOW. WHY AM I SLOW. Anyways. For the most part in releasing The Best From All Possible Worlds, it will be done in Seasons, which is one of the choices that was on the questionnaire. I know I just said I'm finished talking about it, but Seasons, as in, a season of a television show, was the most popular choice. So World 1 will come out over a few weeks, then a long break, then World 2 will come out over a few weeks, and so on and so forth.

What all this means is that, while I'm writing, I also want something more to be added when the story drops. Cover art is nice, but it really doesn't do each world justice. And that's my request. I'm going to be commissioning an image or two per world, generally relating to some magnificent event or the like. I need artists, GOOD ARTISTS, like the lovely Little Tigress who has done wonderful cover art for me in the past. Suffice it to say, I don't know many artists, especially great ones. I know it's rude of me to say, but I am looking for good artists, which means no stick figure/crayon drawings. I'm not looking just for one artist either, otherwise I would just have Little Tigress as my go to choice. I want multiple different styles to cover differing worlds. Some will focus on the background, or some the ponies, or some may even be fight scenes, etc. Most importantly, as I said, I am commissioning. That means money. Yes. MONEY.

Of course, I don't know all of what I want as the images to be for some of the later worlds. I've got good premises down for the first half though. So that means I can't just commission all the art now. That's where you, the reader, come in. You can drop a name in the reply box below, send me a PM, or send the link of this blog post to your artsy friend who you think is the piece de resistance of pony art. When a world ends and a new one is set to begin, I'll browse who might be available and who might fit the bill. There might even be multiple pieces I pay to create for the same world of different artists! And unlike the questionnaire, no time limit! Well—I take that back. There is a time limit, and the time limit is before the story finishes. :rainbowlaugh:

But that's all folks. Thank you again to those who filled out the survey. Only one of you were trolls, which is surprising! I look forward to seeing all of you at the start of The Best From All Possible Worlds, which will be dropping DECEMBER YO SURPRISED YOU WITH THAT ONE DIDN'T I? I'M SLOW BUT I AIN'T THAT SLOW. Edit: ayy, yo, egg on my face but my job is crappy and I hate it. Work every weekend, come in early every day. It's leaving me drained and slow on my work, so probably not December yo. Still working on it tho.

Err, well, anyway. If you would like to continue Sunset Shimmer's journey, feel free to check out The Alicorn Problem which is the canon continuation of TWoAPW's Sunset. It ALSO has a sequel dropping sometime before the end of this month (September)!
