Unfortunately, Equestria Daily hasn't gotten back to me yet, but I can't wait any longer - one of my hard limits was to start publishing and have at least the first couple of chapters up here before Everfree Northwest, because god knows being on the writing track staff I'm gonna want to be able to get excited and hype it and talk about it there in person with all you absolutely lovely writery-type fandom people.
I'm not going to torture myself by staying all bottled up about it all weekend.

Happening.
So here we are, folks. It would be incredibly fortuitous timing if EqD miraculously happened to approve the story and ended up featuring it on/near publishing day, but if not (and I'm certainly not blaming them, it's not their responsibility to coordinate these things), well... time's up, and they'll just have to be late to the party.
This is it. I'm super nervou-cited! 
After so much time and work, we finally reach the end of the road in two days. See you then.
