Unexpected Species Reveal Party · 4:04am Jul 9th, 2021
No fireworks, though. I used them all up four days ago.
Buzz!
Recently, i've been able to scrounge around for cash and get enough to shill out for a few simple art commissions - mostly different versions of the horse that i've had as my PFP for roughly forever. It's been kind of fun, taking the same basic build and color schemes and applying them to new forms. I wasn't expecting much of it.
Except, uh, turns out that the changeling version of Petrichord was way, way, way more popular than I expected. Like, at this point, over two dozen people in my various social circles have explicitly told me that they prefer this buggo to the normal unicorn.
And, hell, I like changelings. Especially the pre-reformed appearance. I'll have to cobble together a new backstory and everything to establish a headcanon, but hey! I'm not complaining, and it seems like most other folks wouldn't, either.
Nothing terribly substantial to say in this blog; most of my recent creative writing has been geared towards tabletop RPG notes, so unless y'all are interested in those, there isn't a whole lot to talk about. As for everything that's been going down on the site...I should be talking about it more in this open forum, but I lack the articulation and the nerve to present a well-written statement without waffling on it. The fact that thinking about the whole situation for more than a few seconds makes me low-key sad for the rest of the day doesn't help, either.
Ah, well. I should have something out in a couple of weeks. Hopefully I can prod myself into writing two different somethings.
Buzz.

Good bug.
cyooot@!
Buggo!
I mean, you could just say this is who you were all along. That's the beauty of it.
A most adorable avatar indeed.
Cuddle bug wins.
I mean, that is pretty cute, ngl
More unexpected fanart!

Blessed buggo.
Headcanon - most changelings are infertile females biologically but choose their pronouns and gender presentations on a roughly even basis. Thorax is a "queen" from the perspective of entomology but identifies as male so King is the appropriate title.
And that is one cute snug bug~
