Twilight slumped back on her throne in Canterlot Palace. “You know, Spike,” she said, “this isn’t really what I thought ruling Equestria would be like.”
“Oh yeah?” He glanced down at the schedule in his talons. “Your next appointment is in five minutes, by the way.”
Due to people not being finished editing, etc, y'all got until the end of the weekend. Submissions are now due at midnight PST on Sunday the 2ed. I'll be checking the group first thing in the morning.
Do you mean the midnight before the Sunday, or the midnight after the Sunday? The why there isn't a standardized notion of what midnight on a day means is ridiculous...
I nearly died getting this thing in at midnight, but the extra two days to polish are very much welcome.
Also, I was wholly unable to figure out how to add the story to the server when there is no place other than the two folders you provided, and I am unfortunately too popular to use them. I'm not sure how that happened to be honest with you.
Looking forward to seeing the results of the extra polish! You should be able to add a story to the group itself. You don't have to add it to a particular sub folder.
5510222 There are two ways to add a story, and the most convenient (and the only one I can remember how to do usually) is from the group page itself. I don't think it's set up to work that way right now.

"Midnight" is short for "middle of the night." When is Sunday night? Well, for example...10pm Sunday is Sunday night. The hour after 10pm Sunday is also Sunday night. And the hour after 11pm Sunday is also Sunday night. That would be 12am, which is mid-night. Meanwhile 1am Monday morning is not "Monday night." 1am Monday is Monday morning, which is clearly not Monday night. So the hou before 1am Monday is clearly not Monday at midnight, because it's not Monday at night at all.
Or, try it the other way: When is the middle of the day on Sunday? That would be Sunday, noon. If somebody says "Sunday at noon" you would never mix up which day they're talking about, because noon is the middle of the day. Night happens after the sun goes down. That is, night happens after day. So, the "12:00" that occurs 12 hours after noon (AKA "afternoon") is the night assosicated with that day. It has to be, because there are only two instances of "12:00" per 24-hour period. If "12:00 noon" is one of them...then "12:00 midnight" is the other one. Therefore, "12am midnight" is the "12:00" that occurs 12 hours after the noon.
I've submitted, but I just noticed it's a few hundred words over the 12k limit so I'm continuing to edit a little before I go to bed. Hope that's okay.

Editing? Pfft, who needs editing anyways?

Let me know if you get stuck?

You can add it by clicking the "groups" button on the fic itself.

That's fine!

Okay, that's super great because I have ME/CFS and absolutely need to crash right now. I'll trim the remaining 82 words tomorrow.
