Specifically, they:
- Tried to get a sexually explicit video of a 12/13 year old
- Had sexually-charged phone calls with the minor
- Did erotic roleplay with the minor several times, and kept trying to do more roleplay even after the minor told them to stop

- For the minors: If an adult on here is being creepy or at all sexually forward, report them! Fimfic is no stranger to adults getting creepy with kids, so best be on your toes.

I hope you made sure to explain to the minor that this, something this could happen to someone else, and if they don't want to deal with it, they're culpable with it happening to someone else.
I'm not unsympathetic to the child but you're allowing it to happen to other people, child or no, own up and try to prevent it.

I know this is quite old at this point, but if you're still in contact with the child, tell them that they should not be afraid to tell their parents or anyone else they trust, contact the police and possibly some child protection helpline. Not only will that help stop the creep from hurting more children mentally and possibly physically, but these might also provide a free therapist for the child to help them deal with what they might have seen or heard and prevent them from developing depression, trust issues, and so on.
In case you can stomach it, a couple people from my country made a rather adventurous documentary about exactly this. I cannot find the full film anywhere, but here's a trailer with English subtitles. It's definitely worth watching.
