The Israel/Gaza Situation Has Me Broken

Ignore if you hate this topic. I avoid social media, and I'd rather rant here than the hellhole that is Twitter :rainbowlaugh:

    Already on Step 4

Check this out if you have zero clue what I'm talking about haha.

Did bodyweight squats in front of my physical therapist, and they were good!! Super smooth, great range of motion, and zero tightness for the first few sets. This puts me on step 4 out of 5.

Plan to Cross the Finish Line

Gameplan my physical therapist and I made to overcome my joint issues once and for all. I'd say I'm 90% there, so here is the plan for the last 10%. Primary remaining issue is the left hip weakness causing me to shift much of my weight onto the right hip, which also causes my entire trunk/upper body to twist to compensate for the lean. This messes up my shoulder blade movement as well, leading to

Can Almost See the Light at the End of the Tunnel

After almost a full decade of pain affecting my waking hours, sleep, ability to exercise, and ability to just have fun, I'm almost done!!!!

I define me being done as: Being able to exercise, sleep, stand, sit, lie down, and walk with no pain, instability, or unevenness. It's hard to put a number on a goal like this, but I'd say I'm 85% there.

    Almost Done Beating Genetics

Ughhhhhh why can't I be 100% done, though :raritydespair:

Alright, so despite basically every joint having issues at first, I can minimize the major starting issues to:
    - Right hip tear + instability
    - Left hip tear + instability
    - Left shoulder instability
    - Right shoulder instability

The two bolded ones were the biggest issues. As of now, I have:

Plan to Cross the Finish Line · 5:42am Aug 9th, 2023

Gameplan my physical therapist and I made to overcome my joint issues once and for all. I'd say I'm 90% there, so here is the plan for the last 10%. Primary remaining issue is the left hip weakness causing me to shift much of my weight onto the right hip, which also causes my entire trunk/upper body to twist to compensate for the lean. This messes up my shoulder blade movement as well, leading to continuing upper body joint issues. Also, just Google these PT exercises if confused.

Step 1: Hip clamshells done properly
* Can't let the right hip or lower back "help" my weak left glute during this

Step 2: Monster walks done properly
* Same as above. My weak left hip can't get "help" during this.

Step 3: Glute bridges (done a special way)
* Only done after my left hip can do steps 1 and 2 without help

Step 4: Bodyweight squats done in front of my PT
* Only done after I can do Step 3 without help

Step 5: All posture issues, even on the upper body, should be gone!!

You want to know the best part? I'm ALREADY on step 3!! Doing these glute bridges properly is still difficult, but getting easier every day!!

Stay tuned while I continue beating my genetics into submission. Me when crossing the finish line hopefully soon:

First, you'll beat your genetics into submission, which will be great. Next, you'll beat Ben Shapiro into submission - a sight which I would pay good money to see. Keep going!

More like I beat Ben Shapiro until he agrees to introduce me to his sister

And thanks

Lmao. Cause she's a doctor or...?

5741438

Just look at a picture of her and use your imagination :rainbowlaugh:

5741439
Read ya loud and clear.

5741438
No. His wife's a doctor, apparently. But his sister... I won't say anything lol.

5741429
How predictable of you. :rainbowlaugh:

5741444
Wah! My Ben Shapiro lore is off! Thanks for correcting me.

I like how you refer to that insane man's life as "lore." I might have to start saying that to make the madness he spreads across the internet more bearable. My throat needs a break from the screaming about his idiotic comments.

"The idea - the idea that the LGBT community can exist alongside us and not be groomers is simply ridiculous and anyone who believes that is objectively asinine-"

Homophobia aside because that's a rant for another day, I don't think he knows what "objective" means.

I won't say anything lol.

No, you must add to the lore :pinkiecrazy:

My throat needs a break from the screaming about his idiotic comments.

Next time before screaming, just remember:
- Shapiro is a dude who talks about "muh traditional masculinity" while having the voice and body of a prepubescent girl
- Talks about "facts over feelings" and then has a meltdown whenever his feelings about religion/tradition are threatened. And then he acts as if his religion is fact instead of some made-up nonsense.
- His claim to fame is winning debates against hysterical, unhinged college students. Basically the equivalent of bragging that you beat up a 5 year old.
- The only good thing about him is that he's related to his sister lol
