How many more chapters are there? How much more do I have to put myself through?
Ten. Ten more chapters. The story will have ninety-five of them. Technically, there will be eleven uploads, since one of the chapters is a two-parter. And lemme tell you, these chapters are dense with material. It's honestly a miracle I got everything connected as well as it is. All the pieces are in place, and the final climax is ready to explode.
Even though it's all serious from here on out, one of the quotes from the newest chapter might be one of the most unintentionally funny ones I've thought of.
Malice’s swollen, baggy, red, bloodshot eyes finally regarded the immobile Pinkie. He smirked and shook his head. "Oh, you poor thing. I don't need to kill you. Yet. But please, consider your fate sealed already."
"I can hardly wait," Pinkie sarcastically replied.
"Does nothing faze you?" Malice curiously followed up.
"Your face does!"
Malice actually laughed. "You are funny. I'll enjoy watching you die. Sit tight for now."
Whereupon he bonked Pinkie on the head with the scepter.
The operative word would probably be "bonk."
