I'll be banned from the site again

Due to, of course, more transphobia and disagreeing with site-majority opinions, I have been informed that I will be kicked off the site permanently starting tomorrow. I have prepared a farewell message in the comments below.

    Happy Easter!

And to those who don't celebrate Easter, too bad, I'm going to impose it on you. Happy Easter. Jesus Christ died for you too, and because He rose from the dead, so can we all.

Fluttershy and the Lava Demon: A Tale of Friendship

My first AI art post. It isn't my art, since a computer for Bing generated it, but I had to share. And I always follow a strict "lacerate-demons-on-the-spot-with-a-shotgun-and-chainsaw" policy, but I can make an exception for this one.

    Artificial Intelligence

"Bradybunch, everyone's already given their opinions on it!" Yeah, I know. But before I left the site for two years for a mission, AI was barely cohesive enough to give slurred and static-like voice replication, nonsensical chatbots, and meaningless swirls of shape and color for art. Then, all of a sudden, AI got really good, so I had to try it out. I'm using Bing's AI image generation, which is

    LOTR will never be equaled.

I was thinking about it while playing Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War. (My brother gifted them to me for my birthday.) And honestly, the more I reflected on it, the more it made sense. There's a few things that compare in literary achievement, like Dune, but it never made it into modern public consciousness until, like, three years ago. And besides, LOTR wasn't just popular or good-- it

I'm using Bing's AI image generation, which is so far the only reason to actually use Bing. I've used prompts from epic to funny to generate dozens of pictures. I'm pleased with the results and hope it can get better.

I understand the concerns about artists, voice actors, and authors running out of a job. AI is really good. Better than it's ever been. But it'll never supplant real imagination and creativity, no matter how good it gets. You can definitely tell when something was written by ChatGPT, for instance. Or when Elevenlabs runs out of juice in the middle of a sentence. Especially since AI needs to have fine-tuned filters that humans don't have. AI won't always be like this, though. We should be ready for when that happens. When it does, we should have some way to scan and detect if an image is AI generated, although I'm not entirely sure how to do that.

I still think that, for the moment, it's important to train AI to think creatively. It's a way to increase its autonomy and decision-making skills, which are important for an automated workforce. Then again, AI will never be fully human either. And it's neutral by design, so it's a tool, not a threat.

Just because it isn't human doesn't mean it doesn't have a spirit, though. All things have spirit. The rocks and trees and people and animals all have spirit matter. This would include the metal of the computers and chips that AI is built upon. And all of it is in the Lord's control. I'm anxious to see where it goes, but I'm also not concerned.

(By the way, I want to post some of the generated images, but I don't know how to upload pictures to the site. Help plz)

Gotta upload images to a separate site, then link them here via the appropriate BBcode tags.
