Petting Celestia and Luna's manes?

Would there be much difference in the feeling of petting Celestia or Luna's mane? Let's say you the human lay between said ponies and are petting them both at same time.

I keep thinking it would give your hands a mild tingling sensation, not that much different from the 'pins and needles' you get when your arm goes numb.

I think that their mane and tail are made of hair, it just looks like it does because of their immense magic, so it would feel just like hair, maybe extra silky. Remember that Mistmane also has a similar mane.

I always imagine it feeling like silky smooth hair in a luke warm liquid. Kinda like how your hair feels right after using conditioner.

Celestia's mane is like the Aperture Science Hardlight platforms.
If you press your cheek against it, it will feel like warm sunlight on your skin... before your hair catches fire.

Luna's mane is tingly. Like shoving your face into a bucket of heavily carbonated beverage, but less sticky.

Celestia's feels like the warm "furry" static crackles from running your hand just above the screen of very old CRT TVs.

Luna's feels like running your hand across one of those plasma globes. Cool and smooth like glass (or cool water) and sharp-tingly with warm pin-spots.

what if celestia and luna increase/decrease the brightness of any room theyre in?
Like anon cant sleep, when hes alone with celestia, cause her brightness keeps him awake, while being around luna during the day warrants anon turning the lights on.
