What I've Been Doing

Progress. I had some free time the past two weeks due to Christmas and all that jazz. Been busy though regardless. The big shocker is that I decided to start reviewing again.

Yes, that's not a joke. It's there, staring at you.

I used to review a lot in PCaRG (Pleasant Commentator and Review Group) and I even tried reviewing on my own for a bit. PCaRG ended up folding and I folded myself into an accordion when I realized I was not up to that challenge right of the start. Don't worry, I'll still be going through my review database once I actually get a good footing. Besides reviewing, I've also been writing another shitpost that will be posted upon completion, since I still need to write the other stories on my plate. It should be out when I get the time again (will just be hyper-focused on it for the next week and will bash it out as soon as possible). Just know, it's going to be very different from my usual content, so take that as you will.

With that being said, here's a snippet from the rough draft. Hope you all are doing well!

“She’s asleep right now in the living room,” Apple Bloom replied softly. She ushered Twilight towards the kitchen table. “You want somethin’ to eat or drink? I know Granny would’ve asked ya if you wanted somethin’ when ya came in.”

Twilight sheepishly smiled, even if her teeth were clacking together all the while. “Thanks, but I-I don’t think that’s… necessary.” The mare gulped. “I wanted to talk to Granny about something, but since you’re h-here, I can ask you about it.”

“It?” Apple Bloom said, her bow tilting with that head of hers. “What do ya mean?”

The alicorn steeled herself. “Well, it’s about your sister.”

When she said those words, Twilight was unsure of how Apple Bloom would take it. And if she was aware of her sister’s condition, Twilight was for sure going to predict that the poor filly would do any of the following:

A. Not actually tell Twilight anything and continue to dodge and weave like she’s making a basket for harvesting apples.
B. Tell Twilight only partially what happened and continue to lead her on until Apple Bloom gained her cutiemark in ‘leading on a pony’.
C. Tell Twilight everything and break down crying because Apple Bloom’s secretly stressed out and Twilight was easily the best at guessing things.
D. None of the above and Twilight is the worst judge of character.
E. All the above, and Twilight really needs to focus on her day job.Why is the site broken and won't enter properly. I have to add this for this enter to work.

With her mind prepped with the power of notetaking and friendship, Twilight kept her cool and waited for Apple Bloom to respond—

Good to hear you'll be doing reviews again! I always forget which review groups are still around and which ones have faded out...
