Dagger sat a table, anxiously waiting for his blind date. He had a rose bouquet tucked away, planning to give it to the date. Granted, the thorns were still in, but it was wrapped, so the thorns wouldn’t poke them.
Soon, a reformed changeling sat down.
He looked up from the menu. “Oh hello— SNAPDRAGON?!”
The changeling immediately looked over. “Oh no... not you.”
Dagger sighed, looking at her. “Well... we’re here now... let’s just... try and make it work...”
“Fine...” she looked at him. “So, where’s my dinner?”
“Your dinner? I thought we paid for our own meals?”
She snorted. “It’s call ‘MEN’U for a reason.”
He sighed and pulled out the bouquet of roses. “Here.”
She scoffed. “Oh please, an elegant Elite like me? Taking roses? I’m afraid you’ll have to do much better than that,” she said, snatching the bouquet.
“Wait, why’d you take it then?”
She began plucking the thorns from it, a sinister smirk on her face.
Dagger gulped. “Mommy...”
A few minutes later...
“First date didn’t go so well, did it?” Stinger asked.
Dagger sat in the infirmary bed with a bunch of rose thorns in his body. “I dunno... you tell me...”
Oh geez...poor Dagger...permission to bring down the karma hammer on her? *summons bow and arrows*
