You can always filter what kind of notifications you want to see. Scrolling through mobile FIMFIction is also easier for keeping up with all of that.

...and this is my reasoned excuse for not having too many persons/groups to follow anywhere ..because even just making sense out of this amount of text ..is not-trivial. Actually answering even small numbers of them? Impossible for me for, probably, for any number bigger than 10 ...

But with HUGE amount of stuff to follow you can play Big Data with them, or just picking up post for answering at random ....
