Dan Vs. The Eternal Kingdom- The Universe in MLP · 12:49am Jun 27th, 2020

When the king and queen of Equestria departed in search of the Fausticorn, they brought with them seeds from the Tree of Harmony. In each of the worlds they visited, they planted a seed. Originally, this act was meant to mark the path of their journey so that they never lost the path back home. They encountered many wonders in the depths of space including alien civilizations and new forms of energy and matter. Unfortunately, they never found their mother whom they longed for. Wracked with despair, the king and queen set upon a new purpose: conquest.

They had met and made many new friends during their adventures through the stars. The unstoppable godlike pair would turn on their allies first, subjugating them and building an army to conquer the rest of their universe. The king and queen of Equestria established a new kingdom among the stars- the Eternal Kingdom, one which they rule absolutely. The occasional uprising or rebellion is met with swift and merciless punishment, usually being total and utter destruction.

One of the first acts the king and queen performed was to remove the border worlds from Equestria. The Equestrian solar system is now several light-years from the nearest habitable planet by the design of the king and queen themselves. This act protects Equestria from her neighbors, but Celestia and Luna have themselves relocated the planet since then, making is new location difficult to determine by all parties.

Life in the Eternal Kingdom is one of duty and servitude. Entire star systems have been reconfigured so that their resources are easily accessible. Some planets exist as mining complexes for the gathering of raw materials while others are population centers for various species. Moons serve a variety of purposes from interstellar launch and transportation junctions to defense and surveillance satellites. Most of the stars in the galaxy have been modified to be more stable than those seen in Earth's universe.

The King and Queen have created new races of ponies for their new kingdom, the most powerful of which are called the Perfected. Crafted from the point of conception onward, the Perfected are technically related to Celestia and Luna but are regarded as stronger and meant to eventually replace them. Nova, Nebula, Solara and Polaro were the first of the Perfected and are considered the most sacred and respected of their kind, acting and speaking with the authority of their parents.

Some planets have been sculpted by the King and Queen to serve other purposes, crafted to be places for recreation and vacation, meditation, experimentation and more. Worlds have different shapes and some solar systems are connected by a series of roads marked by crystal beacons. Indeed, the entire galaxy has been reconfigured based on the King and Queen's designs.

Everything in the Eternal Kingdom is carefully maintained and accounted for by the Sanctified- specialized Subjects who have impressed the kingdom in some way. Earning such status is considered the highest of honors and competition for that honor is fierce.

The capital of the kingdom is the Concordance Citadel. Magic from all worlds is siphoned to the citadel through a strange and mysterious process called Confluence. Through the confluence, magic is pulled from the worlds that serve the kingdom and pools in the citadel. According to their own history, the king and queen use this magic to see the future possibilities of all the worlds of the kingdom, allowing them to make decisions in the best interest of all their subjects. In truth, the two care little for their own subjects and only use the magic for their own selfish desires, usually to watch television in the real world. They were disappointed that MLP ended.

Although the rule of the king and queen is unquestionable, they mostly stay in the citadel bingeing cartoons and reality t.v. Nova, the first of the star-born "perfect ponies" runs things from day-to-day. Her vain and superficial Solara takes care of domestic affairs when she feels like it. Nebula is the little sister and likes playing tricks and causing chaos and mayhem, but usually for a point like to learn about a different species and how they react to a disaster. Polaro, the lone male, is considered a fluke by the rest and is occasionally bullied by his sisters. A math nerd, he keeps the accounts of the kingdom and actually cares about the subjects unlike the others. He's the best possibility for an ally if Dan is to have one.

Still sworn to protect Equestria, the King and Queen's attention is roused when the world is threatened by Vice Grip and the Director. Disappointed with Celestia and Luna, the Eternal Kingdom dispatches a powerful star-born fleet to take control of the planet once more. The only thing standing in the way is Dan and his friends, all of whom are determined to protect Equestria from any threat. Time will tell if they can stand against eternity.

Parents do not know best

Oh dear.

The Eternal kingdom has already failed.

They better hope Dan is up to keeping them going, at least as a distraction.
