Incoming New Story · 6:09pm Jun 9th, 2020
I'm dropping a new story in the Dead by Sunset continuity as a buildup to Dead by Midnight to prove that I'm really committed to this. Hope you all enjoy a little weird romance, and let me know what you think.
Well, I know how I'll be celebrating the end of the term this weekend!
I'm so flipping excited, thank you so much for continuing the series.

Unfortunately I’m not going to be dropping DBM this weekend, it’s still in the works, but I am working through a full round of edits on DBS to bring it at least mostly up to par with my current writing standard while I’m in the midst of writing DBM and other stuff.

No rush, i was going to reread DBS but I need to wait until I finish finals before I start. I don't wanna get wrapped up in a great fic that I know I'll binge read again while I at least pretend to study for finals.
Lol, take your time. I'm just eagerly excited, while I wait.
Hell yeah, cant wait
We’ll his should be interesting then

It’s up now - What I Want is the interquel between dbs and dbm
I want to read it but I've too much else to dooooo... :D

That's fair, lol. What I Want isn't terribly long at least.
...at least not by my standards...

Heh, true, but even if I didn't not have the extra time for even that today, well...
Please Don't See Me seemed pretty standalone.
This seems like maybe I should go through the (first) main story first. Which is, you know, over a hundred thousand words. :D
(Or could this be read by itself too?)

Ah, I see what you mean. Yeah, if you haven't read Dead by Sunset it probably won't make a ton of sense. Please Don't See Me can definitely be read standalone, but it What I Want is very much a continuation of the Epilogue of Dead by Sunset. You could probably read it on it's own and enjoy it, though. It's ninety percent from Redhearts perspective, so there's only a few parts that really won't make sense unless you read DBS.

Hm. Well, thanks, then. :)
Not sure which way I'll go on that, but I still have too many other things to do at the moment, so. [shrugs]
Hope the new work in this continuity goes well for you, though, whether I get to it any time soon or not!
