Baking with Brady! · 11:24pm Jun 2nd, 2020
My family is taken to making enough whole wheat bread to burn through our reserves long enough to last for a nuclear winter. But I've taken to baking more succulent goodies this quarantine. This is one of my favorites that I felt I needed to share with you.
It's simple, really. Anyone can do it, even if you lack baking skills. Make a simple boxed white cake (or alternatively, use a white cake recipe from the internet) and poke deep holes all over the finished cake with a fork. Then make some strawberry Jello liquid and pour it over the surface of the baked cake. Make sure it's all wet, it'll all soak deep into the cake. Then refrigerate it for a few hours. I find four to be a good estimate. The cake should look pink when you take it out. The Jello sets in the cold but it's also inside cake, so it's really firm and spongy.
Next, spread an entire carton of whipped topping over the surface with a rubber pallet knife. You should be able to hear firm plops as you scoop it up and slap gobs of topping on the cake. Be gentle here. You don't want to tear into the surface of the cake. Gently massage the cake, like you're gliding fingers over your significant other's back, or like you're petting a cat. When you get it all evenly spread, layer it with sliced strawberries. Don't be afraid to go overboard here. Use as many as you like. You can also use other fruit like kiwis, blueberries, or clementines--it's really all up to the individual. Finally, sprinkle some white sugar over the top of the strawberries. Again, if you don't want to use it, totally fine. However it turns out, though, it's utterly divine.
Yum that looks good. I want some.
Thatβs a lotta strawberries πππ

have ya considered hosting a cooking show?
Today on Cooking With Brady, we are going to create the ultimate superbeing! I got a bunch of discount DNA at the store the other day, so I just threw it all together in this bowl, so let's see what we come up with!

Yes, thank you for that lovely introduction. As you can see, I've got a divine recipe for you today. Sugar, spice, and everything nice. These were the ingredients chosen to create the three perfect little girls. But Professor Utonium accidentally added an extra ingredient to the concoction--Chemical X! Thus the Powerpuff Girls were born! Using their ultra-super powers, Blossum, Bubbles, and Buttercup have dedicated their lives to fighting crime and the forces of evil!
