Is Rainbow Dash the Cutest of the Mane 6? · 3:40pm May 20th, 2020
From a purely aesthetic perspective, is there something slightly more foalish and cute about Dash? She seems just a bit more fillyish in terms of maturity and (bad) behavior. Even that scene where Fluttershy is comforting her is reminiscent of comforting a small child. Then there's her obsession with what other's think of her. Is she youngest, maybe even still a teenager at the show's start? Could be why she and Pinkie seem to get along so well.

Sometimes her personality does seem childlike, and other times it seems childish. Either way, I do see it.
Dashie is what first drew me to the fandom.
I think it's more likely that she's just more brash and childish than the rest of the Mane 6. I think the Mane 6 are about the same age, but I have no evidence to prove it.

She's both energetic and excitable, and that combination does tend to result in cuteness.

Someone involved in the production once said they were collectively gunning for a late-teens/early adulthood timeframe, and in one of the earlier episodes Fluttershy mentions she's a year older than Pinkie, but I think that's all the information we got age-wise.
