What is this you ask? It's simple actually. I've been slowly chipping away at a few stories in the works, that I feel the need to take a moment, step back, and write something quick to keep myself fresh. As such, I'm opening 1 request slot for a quick and easy story for those interested. Any idea is on the table, the only restriction is that the story will be 1k-1.5k words, so keep your requests short and simple in mind.
I'll leave this blog open for the next 10 hours. Send your request via comment or PM. It's not first-come-first-serve either, so don't be discouraged by others posting.

Shortly after "Sounds of Silence", Twilight and Spike go on a diplomatic visit to the kirin village. Autumn Blaze is tasked with giving them a welcome tour, and comedic kirin antics promptly ensue.
I'm kinda imagining a series of four or five 200-300 word snippets stitched together ("We're in this place!" *horizontal rule* "...And now we're in this place!"), but feel free to do whatever you need to do to make it work.
That is, if it even works in the first place—I preemptively apologize if it doesn't.

Here's an gag idea that I had as part of a larger idea but can be broken off as a quickie.
Spike, manliest, dragon in Ponyvile. Mainly because he hasn't really known any other dragons until recently. During a discussion with Ember, it turns out that thanks to a misunderstanding of dragon anatomy. They discover while everyone thought Spike was a boy when he was born. He isn't.
Ember: "How could you not know Spike was a girl"
Twilight: "We just assumed his pennis fully retracted like with birds or reptiles"
Rainbow Dash: "Or pegasii we just don't tell anyone" "What!" "I didn't say anything"
Ember: "and the fact that it never appeared when 'she' went to the bathroom"
Twilight: "We just thought he was shy"
Spike: "What's a pennis?"
Ember: "We got a lot to go over Spike"
