I love that many people like my Star Wars/MLP fanfic, and I am sorry if you guys feeling it takes so long.
But I have been thinking, and experimenting on rewriting certain chapters, and get some new ones in there to fill in some gaps. To edit some mistakes, and so on.
Though that will take time...
I also must admit I lost some passion for the project for a while because I was tired getting messages from fans, like myself, that started to lecture me about this and that. Now, this is not a sob story or anything, but I want you guys to know the story is not dead, but sometimes you feel a little exhausted because you wanna give it your all.
And it's not always fun to deal with insane fans. I am a fan myself, I love Star Wars, and it has been a big part of my life. But I just wanted to write a fun story, and it is one of my earlier works here on this platform, so mistakes is bound to happen.
I don't care if an R6 unit was not invented in his timeline, this story is not exactly canon, and I just want to have fun writing it. And it is not the comments, I have been glad to get criticism, because it pushes me to do better, if the comments are polite.
But I am talking about the private messages, that can be a little to annoying at times. Thankfully I only need to look at the like to dislike ratio on my story and it is you guys that keeps my passion for the story going!
And that is why I am working little by little to rearrange some chapters, and put in some more here and there to fill in some gaps. I've learned a lot from working on this story, about pacing, and planning. I think I got hung up on writing out scenes, and forgot to really think about connecting better.
I can't say when it will get done, and when it will all be finished, but I can say I will let you guys know and it is still alive, just needed a break from all the fandom and pressure from that story.
Thank you guys for the support, I love witting for people that can find enjoyment in my stories, and I hope you will enjoy it when it has been remastered, edited and more chapters between the chapters you already know has been released. I hope that will make it much better than before.

There is nothing wrong with taking liberties with the source material as long as it isn't used as a way to excuse bad writing. For example, in a Harry Potter x MLP story authors frequently use the bit of Harry Potter lore that states nothing can block a phoenix teleport and take it to mean that a phoenix can teleport literally anywhere without limit, even to other worlds which is just stupid no matter how you try to justify it.
That said most people call out such inconsistencies mostly because sometimes it is just an honest mistake on the author's part and a lot of authors do try to keep things as accurate as possible and thus appreciate such feedback.
Making your intentions clear at the start does help. If people understand you are deliberately ignoring certain details from canon they are more likely to not bother you about it.

There are details I simply have no idea about. Some things that are simply not important to the story I am telling, other things, as you say, are simple forgetfulness from my part. ^^
