Mid to late twenties. We know he's older than AJ, and for simplicity's sake, we'll assume the mane 6 are the same age (ignoring that Flutters is a year older than Ponkers). Assume also that Twilight (and therefore the rest of them) was 18 when she came to Ponyville (not an unreasonable age for someone young to be in higher education). We also know that Big Mac isn't a whole lot older than AJ, perhaps a year or two. So at the beginning of the show, he was probably 20 or so. Now you have to decide how much time has elapsed in horseworld since the beginning of the show.

Finally, an actual answer. I see him as a bit older than that. I see the main 6 as early twenties at start of show, and I see big mac as 4 to 10 years older than AJ, so I think he's in his early to mid 30s. Not unlike...
