Scarlet is a intrigue/drama/action story about a war-scarred mare, Scarlet, who has her life overturned when she finds a filly named, Primrose, in her house on a stormy night. Primrose has a lamp, that some shadowy forces seem to want, and they'll do anything to get it. Including killing them both.

Scarlet is basically one of Fimfiction's best epics. It's criminally under-read, and while set in the far future of Equestria, long after the reigns of Celestia, Luna, Cadance and Twilight, it's storytelling puts many ... hell it puts some of my stories to shame. A true masterpiece of drama and intrigue that employs masterful foreshadowing, I highly recommend reading it.

Plus, it's updated regularly! Seriously, READ IT ALREADY.

Definitely agree with you on the "Criminally under-read" part. Scarlet has been very interesting from the start. The recent chapters kinda blew me away, ngl.
