So regarding that last blog post. · 3:07am Jan 13th, 2020
In case you missed it, there was drama. If you're curious, don't ask because I honestly don't want a repeat of what happened. The last blog I made devolved into a total mess that ended when the mods stepped in and gave it the good old nuke. Last thing I wanted was a shitstorm, and sadly that happened. However among the mess I got clarification I was seeking on the side from both mods and even one fellow author. Because of this I sent out apologies to those deserving.
I will talk about one thing. The blog itself had an underlining request about a ban my friend received and how I made an ultimatum on removing my stories and leaving the site if she didn't get unbanned. At the time of posting that blog, I can fully admit it was a knee-jerk emotional response to a situation that could have been handled better by me. Do I regret posting it? No. I do however regret the mess that erupted from it. Did I get the unbanning I wanted? Sadly no, however I got a very solid reason from the mods once I started looking at things from their P.O.V. I also got more clarification when a site blog went up almost after it.
So am I leaving? No, I'm staying. I may have not got everything I wanted, but I got enough to satisfy me. I learned from this as well; leaving the platform open on both stories and blogs is okay, but I do need to moderate them and draw my own line. The mess was partially my inability to moderate comments and because of that tempers raged, and lots of people got upset.
With this behind me, I'll refocus on what I'm here for and why I came back to this site: Writing for mine and your entertainment for a show that we all enjoy. I won't let one bad incident push me away from this site. I've dealt with stuff in the past on similar levels and I never left then; I sure as hell won't leave now.
You're all stuck with your overbearing perverted sister on this train called Friendship Is Magic. Lets enjoy this ride together.

Glad you're staying. It looked like the blame was spread around and while there is a time and a place for some of the controversial themes of today on the site, I hate how the internet and pervasive media puts drama everywhere now. Some people need to learn to stop lighting fires and some need to just walk away. It's only spreading human suffering, even if it's just a slow build up day to day.
