    Resonance

After two and half years another long project comes to an end and with it—a moment of quiet retrospection before I ought to look back and start learning. Aside from the ‘Behind the stage’ section, this blog is relatively spoiler-free.

    Plans I have trouble following

I am still pretty much alive, but the recent events of my life lead me to make a few adjustments in regards to some things I spoke about in my last blog.

Aftersound Aftermath and Future Plans · 7:18am Dec 21st, 2019

I should start by saying that this blog post is 100% spoiler free, so if you are yet to finish Aftersound, fear not.

Now that the things I should say have been said, I’m going to say the things I want to say. And that will be my gratitude.

This entire project wouldn’t have been possible without my friend Geka who both inspired me to write and helped me more than once. There is a reason why he is listed as an author of Aftersound, his contributions are too many to number as he worked with me on the story from before it was even posted to the last chapter.

Next come the people without whom it would be impossible to read the story.

IAmApe, Jay Tarrant, Mike Meiers, DuvetofReason, FairySlayer, QU4DZILLA, Damajics and Steel Resolve

Some helped me with only a few chapters, but their help is appreciated nonetheless. However, my special thanks goes to IAmApe, who has not only worked with me the longest (and I dare say the hardest), but very often extended his help beyond fixing my grammar, making the story’s logic and plot better. I also want to thank Jay Tarrant who helped me with the ending and was also one of the editors who worked with me for a very long time.

And of course I want to thank you, my readers. It doesn’t matter if you left a comment or read the story without any indication of doing so. Just knowing that there are people who took an interest in my work warms my heart. Though, I am not gonna lie, the comments were extremely motivating as well, each time strengthening my desire not only to finish the story, but make it the best that I could.

Thank you all for sticking with me for so long and appreciating my writing.

Aftersound was probably the biggest project I have worked on and probably the longest, taking me nearly two years to finish. I’ve found new friends in the process of writing it, my knowledge of English improved drastically (it is still far from stellar, though). One of the outcomes I consider very important: I now enjoy writing and I want to create more stories.

So Aftersound isn’t to be the last story you will see from me. I am already working on one. There are a few stories on the backburner, such as an Aftersound side story practically half-done (though I am considering scrapping the text and redoing it from scratch). There are a few ideas I have had for a while, but had no time to work on. More information about my future plans can be found in the other Aftersound blog since they are a bit spoiler-ish.

If you aren’t going to read it when we part here, Happy Holidays and see you next year!

Pony Tales, a quite welcoming place dedicated to discussing and working on many great stories (now including Aftersound). I think you may also find it interesting.

Thanks for reading.

Stay Awesome,
