Hey.
So, this may come as a bit of a shock, but my good friend Tom117z and I have started working on a Crossover between my 'Little Flashes' series and his 'Change' series. The prologue and first chapter will go up here on Fimfiction in about a week, but I figured I would draw some attention to it right now.

The description:
Things have changed.
When Rainbow Dash unexpectedly arrives at the Badlands Hive, her open displays of hostility leave Princess Twilight Sparkle and Queen Chrysalis perplexed. The situation only devolves from there as differences in this Rainbow Dash are discovered, and it soon becomes apparent that two worlds have collided that were never meant to meet.
Twilight and Rainbow, each with scars both physical and mental, have to find common ground before time runs out. If they can’t, then the pegasus may become stranded in this world of changelings forever.
The story takes place a few weeks after the Amnesia Arc in Little Memories and during the Two-Year gap in Change after Twilight got shanked by Serpens.
A better idea than Of Mice and Mares, I'll give it that.

Is reading this crossover necessary before reading the next flash story? I've only read the little flashes series and I just want to know?

It's canon in its own specific universe/universes.
I love change, and this will finally get me to read the little flashes series that has been sitting in my watch later. Freeport, of the hive, celestia the changeling queen, and change are in my top 5 favorite series on this site. Can't wait to finally read the little flashes series.
