I am very sad to report that Spitfire, my nineteen year old cat, has passed away.

She lived with some friends of mine and when I lived with them we got really close. She just loved when I petted her and gave her kisses. She was such a sweet cat. I'm definitely more of a dog person but she was something else. She got me on that girl level.

Spitfire, I hope you're somewhere up on that Rainbow Bridge meowing at some lesser cats to whip 'em into shape. I hope you're drinking tea from a glass so tall you can fit your whole body in it. And I hope you're happy. Because you've spent far too long being in pain. I hope you're doing great wherever you are.

Rest in peace, Spitty. I'll miss you.

I am so sorry to hear about that. But nineteen years old is a very long time for a cat to live, and I'm sure every moment of her life was spent knowing you loved her.
