“Alright, now tell me my dear friend, what inspired your username?
Response:
Well, for starters, I wanted to use something that represented me well. I’ve always liked tech, so I originally went with TechnoNerd. That changed pretty quickly to TheMajorTechie though after a few months.
“What drew you into Mlp?
Response:
I still have absolutely no idea. I just wanted a place to write and get feedback.
“Who is your favorite pony and why?
Response:
Twilight Sparkle, hands down. I’ve used her as the main character in a pretty sizable portion of my stories, mostly out of the fact that I’m able to write her personality pretty well (in my opinion).
“Favorite episode and why?”
Response:
No idea. I stopped watching after about halfway through Season 6, and most of the previous seasons just kinda blended together for me. I guess maybe the Season 5 finale for its parallel universes?
“What inspires you to write?”
Response:
Boredom, plain and simple. An active imagination for storywriting helps too.
“Give us the background of the author! Tell us all about you. Well in a short summary.
Response:
I actually was originally one of those kids who made fun of MLP back when Gen3 and 3.5 were around. It was pretty much completely by coincidence that I stumbled across Fimfiction around four or five years ago while looking for a place to post some (admittedly, probably terrible) short stories. I slowly was drawn into the fandom, eventually making my own account and posting some stories of my own. Out of the first three, only the third story really went anywhere-- my “What If” story. In 2016, I’d say that my interest in MLP and the fandom as a whole pretty much peaked. I stopped even trying to write original fiction by then, and was fully invested in ponies. I ended up actually writing something that a review from a now-defunct story review group noted was more akin to “MLP propaganda” than an actual story, and honestly, that kinda spooked me.
From then on, I started writing more and more original content. It started mostly with things like OCs and background lore, but it grew pretty steadily until around 2018. That was when I started writing original fiction again, and at this point now in late 2019, I’ve largely stopped working on anything at all on Fimfiction.
“Is there anything else you'd like to say?
Response:
Mmmm not really.

I nearly stopped watching at the start of season 6 because of the boring episodes back then, but you really should make your way to season 7, you may get back into the mood for the rest then

Maybe, maybe not. I've honestly been enjoying writing original fiction quite a bit more than fanfics lately, though I do still post oneshots from time to time.
