Going to Trotcon next year! · 1:10am Aug 31st, 2019
Gonna be my first brony convention... little nervous, but I hope to run some light tabletop pone-RPGs while I'm there. My hotel arrangements are in flux. I ended up making a reservation then cancelling because my first hotel looked horrifying once I dug a little deeper. Strong lesson about not shooting from the hip, there, but it'll get sorted.
At any rate, the badge name is of course Rune Soldier Dan, and will be happy to see anyone else from fimfic while I'm there.

Awesome! You’re going to love your first con! My advice is...
1. Talk to ppl in lines
2. Find the fellow writers because they’ll want to talk about writing.
3. Consider a expanded/upgraded pass for the free goodies.
4. Attend and participate in all the panels you can get to but leave if you find yourself uninterested. Your time is precious
5. Bring a water bottle.... you’ll see why.
6. Get to any panels involving cast members early..

But you better believe I stayed hydrated!
I will be on staff! Usually I tend to do work with the guests, and am fairly easy to approach when I'm not actively working! Also there are always writer-organized shenanigans at Trotcon, too - Trick Question / Admiral Biscuit would be good to talk to!
