The First Time I Was Featured... · 9:30pm Aug 3rd, 2019

I am speechless.

I am in awe. I never thought one of my stories would make it to the featured page. It's been a dream of mine that I've been trying to achieve for so long. It's so incredibly humbling. I was talking to my friend this morning, and I told him that I think this is what winning an Oscar must feel like after being nominated several times.

I dreamed of getting featured. And now it happened, and I am honestly so shocked. I mean, I have written stories that I thought would get featured that never did, and then this little one-shot happens so unassumingly and It makes It. When I saw I made the featured page it was 2AM and I started screaming and woke up my mom and she freaked out with me, and I called my dad and he freaked out with me. It was incredible!

I am so grateful to get to write stories for this fandom. You all are the most incredible people and It's such an honor to write for you. I enjoy doing commissions for you guys and helping make your ideas real. I love reading works that lift me up on my worst days. I am blessed to have met some amazing friends on this website. This incredible show has bonded us all and given us something in common, and it's absolutely beautiful. I am so thankful to all of you for all that you have done for me and my family.

I must give a very special thank you though, to Pip. Pip has read most of my stuff before I ever posted it. He always encouraged me in my writing, even when I was afraid to post it because I feared bad reactions. He always encouraged me, always helped me, always gave me reviews when I couldn't turn to anyone else. I am so grateful to have such an amazing best friend who I can share this fandom with. Go check out his story, A Do Over, because even though it is absolutely heartbreaking, it's incredibly well written. If anybody deserves to hit the featured page, it's him. He's an incredible writer, and an even better friend. Thank you, Pip. For everything you do. I couldn't have made it this far without you.
