    The Bean is loose!

Okay. Somebody left the front gate open, and Baked Bean has gotten out and wandered off again.

If you happen to spot him, do not approach, do not get him wet, do not expose to direct sunlight, and whatever you do, don't feed him after midnight. (It makes him gassy.)

    Follow up to Bleh

    Modmyths asks:

Have you thought about starting up a Go Fund Me for it?

(It being my broken water line, just to be clear.)

The answer is no, I hadn't thought of that.

    But!

I went out and got more bids, and found a general contractor who could do the job for 3k.

    A Correction

It has come to the attention of management that a typographical error has occurred in chapter 13 of New Noses Know.

Specifically, the name of the thestral being interviewed by Garbanzo and Lima Bean. The story egregiously listed her name as Short Shift.

    Her name is Night Shift.

A Simple Poem by Baked Bean · 7:12pm May 10th, 2019

Oh, I'm married to Celestia
And life is never glum
For how can I be grumpy
When her sun is on my bum? :trollestia:

I... I just, who wrote this?

Good poem though.

Bean wrote it!

It's actually adapted from something I saw on Facebook. :twilightsheepish:

Bean's quite the romantic poet, in his own unique manner of course.

I say, you made me spit out my tea good sir.

HAHAHAHA

I would say I'm sorry, but I'm pretty sure I succeeded in my intent to be amusing. So you're welcome! :yay:

He's one of the great authors of our time, no?
5056767
Indeed he is.

Praise indeed! :moustache:

5056883
Thanks for the watch btw. I've always loved good Celestia stories (like yours).

5056891
Why thank you! I thought I was following you already. Loving Changling of the Guard, and your recent blog post about realistic militaries. I'm taking notes for when if I rewrite The Black Sheep. :)

5056896
That's the thing...i didn't write changeling of the guard. I wrote "Princess Celestia: The Changeling Queen". I did write that blog post on militaries though XD

5056913
Whoops, my bad. :facehoof:
Well that's embarrassing.

5056920 5056913 Hey, I've called my kids by the wrong names before. (admittedly the girls are twins, but...) And my own mother used to call me Neil. I think it was because she yelled at him more. :)

5056926 5056920
It's all good. I was playing soccer yesterday with a bunch of people who just get together and kick the ball around. We do this every year around summer (for like... 10 years). I called this other longtime player "Sam."

I then found out that people called him Stanley.

But that his actual name is Danny.

....
XD

That does make me feel a little bit better. :)

5056938 5056941 I played GURPS with a married couple (Kim and Jim) for well over a year before I realized Jim's name was *not* Ed, the name of his character.

Snrk
It is a nice sun.
