Oh god, a print run and I’m not ready!
That’s okay! I’m going to do it a bit differently this time—rather than leaving the signup section open for only a week, I’m going to do it for a full month this time, with semi-regular reminders. (And hopefully some help from outside websites like EQD.)
I’ve put this off for a while for a lot of reasons—some good, some bad—and I want to make sure as many people can get a copy as they can. This longer-than-usual signup time will give us at least two paychecks to work with, so hopefully everyone can get something this time!
But what if that’s not enough time?
We’ll see what we can do. There’s not exactly a deadline and I have to wait for a sale from Book1One anyway, so there might be some wiggle room.
Wait, you’re not ordering right away?
Not right away. Like I’ve mentioned previously, Book1One delivers quality goods, but you definitely have to pay for it first. They have pretty regular sales though, and I’ll keep everyone in the loop about any/all status updates.
Okay, so what’s the price going to be?
I’ve tried to rebalance it to make it easier on non-U.S. buyers, so it’s going to be $57 USD per book for U.S. buyers and $62.00 for non-U.S. buyers.

What’s the ordering process?
Same as last time: starting tomorrow afternoon/evening, I will solicit orders in a separate post titled "The Life and Times Order Form – Mk. III". This will open orders for a period of one month (final date on it is Sunday May 26). At the end of that period, it will be clear what the cost of printing will be and how much everyone who wants a copy will owe. I will set the final price and send a FimFiction private message to each confirmed customer with payment instructions. Payment will be accomplished via PAYPAL ONLY—please do not ask questions about whether other forms of payment might be acceptable. The answer will be no.
After a second period of roughly 48 hours for payment, I will cancel all orders which have not been paid for, and then I will order the books from the printer. From that point, it will be approximately three weeks before I receive the completed books and mail them to everyone. You will receive a confirmation PM that your book is in the mail.

Am I going to get my book(s) before BronyCon 2019?
If everything works out, yes. I’ll make no promises until I get the funds in place and a quote from Book1One, but I will do everything I can to get these in your hands before August.
The Process, tl;dr:
1. Obtain Firm Commitments and Set Final Prices - initial sign-up period
2. Transmit Order Confirmations and Accept Payment - second 48 hour period
3. Order Books From Printer - approximately two weeks for production and delivery
4. Sign, Package, Seal, Address, and Mail Books - however long it takes USPS media mail to reach U.S. purchasers, and USPS priority mail to reach international purchasers

Dang, I wish that The Lunar Rebellion was included. I'd put money down for that in a heartbeat. But for now I suppose I will have to consider whether I want Winning Pony right now.

Firstly, nice Beard. Secondly, good luck with the ordering process this time. I have my copy of Winning Pony in print still, so I won't be ordering this time. But to all the other readers who are curious, This process works pretty well and the changes that I read from the above post only seem to make things run even smoother. Do not be afraid to order your books, Comma is very good at this now.

At this time, there are no solid plans to alter the cover art or include additional material.
